The interviewer/director, Julia St. Vincent had a crush on Holmes and made this film hoping to resurrect Holmes' fading career. By the time she was doing this autobiography, he had been blacklisted by many producers and directors for his on-set troubles like coming in late and disappearing on the set. (That's why she asks him why he locks himself in the bathroom) Holmes would freebase coke in the bathroom or a closet in the house they would shoot a movie in. Bob Chinn (director of his Johnny Wadd films had it with Holmes and his trouble with getting it up) Apparently, he gave Holmes one last chance and was shooting a new Johnny Wadd film, which St. Vincent came on set. She interviewed Holmes and when it came for him to shoot his first sex scene, Holmes couldn't get an erection and was fired that day. Also interesting, was Holmes penchant to lie about himself. In the interview on the Wadd set, he claims he was majoring in physical therapy, in this interview he claimed he was an architect major. Holmes also used to like to claim he was a gigolo to rich women but in truth he hung out in gay bars and took money from men who wanted to suck his cock, until he couldn't get it up then either. When the money from porn and sex dried up, he resorted to stealing luggage from LA airports to feed his coke habits. Basically, John Holmes was a real scumbag.

The two scenes at the beginning and end were the high points of this. Very hot stuff. Interesting that Holmes’ cock was considered to be uncut but the foreskin barely reached the head of his cock. Seems to me that real uncut would be where the foreskin can completely cover the head. Any thoughts on this?
